We all have journeys that make us who we are.
I am a maker. I work with clay.
I believe that if it were not clay, I would still be a maker. I would find another medium with which to make. Nothing, however, makes me happier than creating objects with clay that hold meaning and can be shared.

Botanical
Inspired by family and my love of time spent outdoors, on the trail and in the garden, this body of work reflects ideas of bounty, comfort, and nostalgia and also my joy and respect for nature. Functional objects made for sharing and celebrating everyday moments and special occasions.
Mindset
These are sculptural works, each one an expression of an internal state. Richly coloured and textured, the direct action and compression of hand-building techniques offer a physical representation of grappling with ideas and emotions. My approach when words fall short.
